Homicide Investigation Update
Shafter Police Department - Press Release For October 10, 2009. A Ramey arrest warrant for murder and attempted murder has been issued for Alejandro Aguilar, age 17, a resident of the county area south of the city limits of Shafter. The deceased at the scene were identified as Pete Fimbres, age 25, and Julio Angel Herrera, age 18. Michael Fimbres, age 20, and Carlos Fimbres, age 27, were taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment for gunshot wounds, all three of the Fimbres’ are brothers.
