Responsibilities:
Overseeing and approving the design, construction, and maintenance of public infrastructure including public streets, sewer, water, and storm drain systems.
- Approving and coordinating construction of residential and commercial developments
- Approve Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, Lots Line Adjustments, and Lot Mergers.
- Perform engineering and administrative services for city owned public works related projects.

- Encroachment Permit - An encroachment permit is required for any work to be performed within city right of way. Permit Fees must be paid at the time of submittal.
- Bidder's List - The city keeps a database of contractors who wish to be notified of projects the City puts out for bid. Contractors can download and fill out the Bidder's Questionairre and fax it to (661) 746-9125.
