Dorm Remodel Project
Currently the department is taking on a tremendous inside remodeling project. Lead by a team of enthusiastic and hard working officers, the CCF has been recognized as needing a new face lift. The City Council and city manager have told us to go to it and that's exactly what our staff and inmate help have been doing.
Special Olympics Torch Run
On Saturday morning, May 10, our motley crew began running through the streets of Shafter cheered on by the Marine Corp. cadence of Officer Alberti's Harley. Nearing the event site, we came together for the final leg of the run to start the Olympic events.

Our representative Special Olympic athlete lead the way for our group to come in and our CSU volunteers were with us the whole way. Thanks to our law enforcement torch runners and Special Olympic athletes!
Chief of Corrections Paul Lozano Swearing-In Celebration
Chief Lozano was sworn in as Chief of Corrections on October 27, 2011. His dedication and leadership has been greatly appreciated by the CCF staff and we all congratulate him on this achievement.
