Department Overview

The Economic Development Department supports the economic growth and vitality of the City of Shafter. The city has a reputation as a progressive leader in the area of economic development. Through the collaboration of multiple City Departments, Shafter is known for its "one stop shop" process by those doing business in and with the City. We strive to build long standing relationships with all those with whom we conduct business.
