Approval of minutes - Regular Meeting of September 13, 2005
This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons desiring
to address the Commission on any matter not on this agenda and over which the
Commission has jurisdiction. Speakers are limited to five minutes. Please state
your name and address for the record before making your presentation.
Should anyone challenge any proposed action which is the
subject of a Public Hearing listed on this Agenda or otherwise, that person may
be limited to raising those issues addressed at the Public Hearing, or in
written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at or prior to this
1. Conditional Use Permit No. 05-31: a request for RV/boat
storage, an RV dump station tied to City sewer, canopies for RV storage area,
gravel surfacing for RV/boat storage area and an 8 foot high block wall
adjacent to Beech Avenue where a 6 foot high wall is the maximum height
allowed. The requested items are accessory to a planned mini storage use
proposed for the site.
2. Conditional Use Permit No. 05-32: a request to replace a
dilapidated dwelling unit with a new dwelling unit in a DC (Downtown
Commercial) zone district. Improvements will include provision of six
off-street parking spaces where none currently exist.
3. Tentative Tract No. 6555: a proposal to subdivide 22.99
acres into 72 single family residential lots and one sump lot. The proposed lot
sizes range from 9,022 square feet to 14,109 square feet. The project site is
located at the southwest corner of Fresno Avenue and Shafter Avenue. The
subject property is zoned for R-1 (Residential-Low Density) development.
4. Annexation No. 78/Pre-Zone No. 05-34: a proposal to annex
and pre-zone 166.01 acres adjacent on the north side of Fresno Avenue, between
Shafter Avenue and Beech Avenue, for Estate (E) development.
In compliance with the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT, if
you need special assistance to participate in a Planning Commission meeting,

(3) working days before the meeting or time when special services are needed.
This notification will help City staff in making reasonable arrangements to
provide you with access to the meeting.
